Passionate about the relationship between water features and people, owner Brad Vanders has owned and operated water feature businesses as a designer, specifier, installer and project manager and has experience with all types of water features. Brad completed training and certification as a Master Certified Aquascape Contractor with Aquascape, Inc. in 2019.
Prior to starting United Waterscapes, Brad was Operations Manager of Waterscapes Australia. During this time Brad broadened his depth of knowledge and experience working under internationally renowned water feature designer Patrick Handley and oversaw a great selection of world-class projects.
United Waterscapes is based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and completes projects Australia wide.

Recreation Ponds
Recreation Ponds are fish ponds that you can interact with. Similar to a swim pond, recreation ponds are designed and constructed with natural materials as a natural habitat for fish and are filtered by constructed wetland filters.
Ecosystem Ponds
Ecosystem Ponds are fish ponds that look like they have been in place forever. These are constructed with Aquascape, Inc water feature products and include boulders, pebbles and aquatic plants.
Pondless Systems
Waterfalls and streams are pondless systems that have an underground pondless reservoir at the foot of the system. Waterfalls and streams are built into the side of a hill and designed to beautifully fall over an elevation change.
Fountainscapes
Fountainscapes such as urns, spillway bowls and fountains add a bespoke touch to any part of your garden. From smaller installations - like a single urn - to large customised Fountainscapes with urns and spillway bowls, these water features deliver.
Bubbling Boulders
Bubbling Boulders create the illusion of an aquifer rising up from the ground and bubbling forth from the boulder itself, creating the delightful sound of a bubbling brook and adding a touch of "Wow!" to your living space.
Dam Beautification
Earthen bottomed lakes and dams can benefit greatly from surface and sub-surface aeration, skimmer collection systems, circulation jetting, regeneration zones and wetland filtration.

“The advice and updates throughout the build to educate us on the process were on point and the team were a great bunch of really nice guys that we had a ball with throughout the build.”
Being in a bush acreage setting with a lot of space we were weighing up a large concrete pool for quite a while, having previously had mineral pools. Then a friend put us onto a natural style recreation pond which we had never seen before. As soon as we saw the visual look of the pond and idea around them, we had our heart set on one! The fact it's fresh water, with no chlorine or chemicals, and when jumping in it feels like you've dove into a fresh waterhole or stream. We are constantly doing work around the property and just strolling over and flopping in which is extremely refreshing without wanting to get out! We are in May now, and still swimming in it so the fact we can use it all year round is unbelievable.
Brad and team set out with a plan in place at the start that only got better and better in terms of concept and design throughout the build and what we have ended up with is incredible and we can't help but stare at it everyday. The elevated bank with water feature at the top and wrapping around the pool as well as the large waterfall that you could just sit around all day listening to is beyond expectation. The advice and updates throughout the build to educate us on the process were on point and the team were a great bunch of really nice guys that we had a ball with throughout the build. Brad's also been back on numerous occasions post build checking in and assisting with any questions/sorting any minor issues which has been really impressive as well. We would 100% suggest anyone looking to build a recreation pond to hit this team up with their professionalism and quality being over and above.
